The NWCS (Netherlands Working Conditions Survey; NEA) is one of the largest periodical surveys on the labor situation of Dutch employees. The NWCS survey is held annually since 2003. The populace consists of employees who live and work in the Netherlands and are within the age range of 15-65 (2003-2013) of 15-75 (since 2014). 23.000 people filled in the survey in the period 2003-2013. By 2014 the sample size increase from 80.000 to 140.000. By now the number of people that fill in the questionnaire has grown to 63.000 in 2018. To make the sample as representative as possible we weigh the collected data. This makes it possible to make valid conclusions on employees in the Netherlands based on the NWCS.
No paper versions of the questionnaire are used as of 2018. An overview of the questions in the NWCS is abailable in the methodology report (in Dutch).
